Does CryptoDeposit Tracker have access to my Bitcoin?
No. It cannot send, receive, withdraw, or move cryptocurrency. It only reads supported deposit notification emails, records activity in your web dashboard, and syncs a copy to a Google Sheet you control.
Does it need my wallet password?
No. CryptoDeposit Tracker never asks for wallet passwords, seed phrases, or private keys.
Does a detected deposit mean the Bitcoin transaction is confirmed?
No. CryptoDeposit Tracker parses supported wallet notification emails. It does not independently query the Bitcoin blockchain or verify settlement, so check the transaction in your wallet or with your own verification process when confirmation matters.
How often does it check for notifications?
Scans run on a recurring schedule set by your plan. The schedule is shown on the pricing page; Google Apps Script may not run at an exact minute. New activity is not necessarily recorded immediately.
What Google permissions does setup request?
Setup connects account identity, Gmail, Google Sheets, and Apps Script. The generated script reads matching wallet notifications, applies a “CDT Processed” label to messages it handles, writes records to your Sheet, and sends scan results and errors to the service. It does not send or delete messages. See the security page for details.
Which wallets are supported?
Cash App (Bitcoin deposits & receipts), Strike (Bitcoin & Lightning), Coinbase (BTC receipts), ShakePay (BTC & Lightning), and KOHO (via NDAX) are supported out of the box. Custom notification rules can also be added in admin settings.
Can I forward wallet emails from another provider?
Yes. Forward supported wallet notifications to the Gmail inbox you connect during setup. Read the forwarding guide for the recommended approach.
Does it work with Google Workspace?
Yes. Gmail and Google Workspace accounts can be connected through the same Google OAuth flow.
Can I edit or export my records?
Yes. The Google Sheet is created in your own Drive, and you can edit or export it at any time. Deposit history can also be exported as CSV from the dashboard.
What happens if a notification is missed?
Each scheduled scan searches recent matching messages, and the script currently uses a seven-day lookback by default. A later scan may catch a message that was missed, but detection is not guaranteed: the email must still match a configured wallet rule and scan limits apply. Check dashboard scan status and errors if something is missing.
What happens if I cancel?
Canceling stops future billing and account access. Your Google Sheet remains in your Google Drive.
